خرمای تنگستان:کبکاب 
خرمای تنگستان، بهویژه نوع «کبکاب»، یکی از خرماهای مرغوب و پرطرفدار ایران است که در شهرستان تنگستان واقع در استان بوشهر کشت میشود. این خرما به دلیل طعم شیرین، بافت نیمهخشک و خواص تغذیهای بالا، جایگاه ویژهای در میان مصرفکنندگان دارد.
مشخصات خرمای کبکاب تنگستان

رنگ و ظاهر: در مرحله خارک، رنگ زرد دارد؛ در مرحله رطب به قهوهای روشن متمایل میشود و در حالت خرمای کامل، به رنگ قهوهای تیره درمیآید.

بافت و طعم: دارای بافت نیمهخشک و طعمی شیرین و دلپذیر است.

وزن میوه: حدود ۱۵ گرم با شکل بیضی.

زمان برداشت: خارک در اوایل مرداد میرسد و خرمای کامل از اواسط شهریور تا اواسط مهر برداشت میشود.
اهمیت اقتصادی و کشاورزی
شهرستان تنگستان با بیش از ۷۱۴ هزار اصله نخل، سالانه حدود ۲۴ هزار تن رطب و خرما تولید میکند. حدود ۷۰٪ از این تولیدات به صورت رطب کبکاب وارد بازار داخلی میشود. خرمای کبکاب از نظر اقتصادی پس از ارقام استعمران، شاهانی و مضافتی در رتبه چهارم قرار دارد.
